Job Description :

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will work closely with clients and internal teams to understand existing data sources and applications, analyze and map data across multiple systems, perform data quality assessments, and conduct advanced data analysis. This role requires technical expertise in database systems, cloud technologies, and data analysis tools, coupled with excellent communication and organizational skills to coordinate with clients and offshore teams.

Note : Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required due to Export Control Regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Understanding and Analysis

  • Engage with clients to assess and understand their existing data sources and applications.
  • Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, trends, and actionable insights.
  • Analyze and map data across multiple applications and platforms.
  • Apply data analysis techniques such as clustering, grouping, and segmentation to drive decision-making.

2. Data Quality and Governance

  • Assess data quality to ensure accuracy, completeness, and relevance.
  • Provide recommendations to enhance data quality and usability.

    • 3. Database and Cloud Technologies

  • Work with Relational Databases (RDBMS) like MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Leverage NoSQL databases such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, and Cassandra for unstructured data.
  • Utilize cloud database technologies, including Blob Storage, Amazon S3, AWS RDS, Azure Cosmos DB, and Amazon DynamoDB.

    • 4. Technical Proficiency

  • Conduct data analysis using tools such as Excel and Python.
  • Work within cloud-based ecosystems like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud for data storage and processing.
  • Apply foundational knowledge of Machine Learning and AI to enable advanced analytics.

    • 5. Collaboration and Coordination

  • Collaborate with offshore teams to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between clients and internal teams, managing stakeholder expectations effectively.

    • Qualifications and Experience

  • Experience : 6–10 years in data analysis or a related field.
  • Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, MCA, or related fields.
  • Certifications in data analysis, databases, cloud platforms, or machine learning are a plus.
  • French speaking a plus

    • Preferred Skills

  • Proficiency in Excel for data visualization and analysis.
  • Strong programming skills in Python for data manipulation and modeling.
  • Expertise in Relational Databases (RDBMS), particularly MySQL and PostgreSQL .
  • Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like Elasticsearch and MongoDB .
  • Familiarity with cloud database technologies, including Blob Storage , Amazon S3 , AWS RDS , Azure Cosmos DB , and Amazon DynamoDB .
