This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing, well established medical device leader as a Clinical Specialist for Aortic Intervention in British Columbia for our Vascular Division at Cook Canada.
The Clinical Specialist provides clinical support for Cook’s Aortic Intervention product line through direct physician interaction, medical staff education and procedural consultation.
The Aortic Intervention division of Cook Medical focuses on the Endovascular treatment solutions for abdominal and thoracic aortic disease.
The product line includes endovascular grafts and accessory devices (wire guides, catheters, dilators, introducers, and molding balloons) to support implant procedures.
The ideal candidate will reside in the Province of British Columbia, Vancouver preferred, Victoria / Kelowna considered.

Responsibilities
- Provides clinical support during procedures
- Educate and update customers through in-service training, literature, videos and articles approved by the company
- Identify, establish and develop relationships with key clinical and non-clinical decision makers to clinically support company product lines
- Maintain frequent communication with the sales team, Regional Sales Manager and other support functions
- Maintain accurate and timely reports and records
- Keep current on the Canadian Health Care environment
- Comply with all company policies
- Travel is up to 50%

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative and
independent work situations and environments with minimal supervision
- Ability to remain calm and receptive in fast paced situations

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred, or experience of such kind and amount as to provide a comparable background
- 3 years of experience in a clinical environment preferred
- Knowledge of Microsoft software, . Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.
- Experience in working independently with little direct supervision
