Internationally renowned for its innovation in nursing education and research, McMaster University’s School of Nursing is seeking a leader who will continue to build on a stellar reputation for developing and enhancing capacity for education and research across the globe while delivering high-quality, responsive, and student-centered education and research programs at home. The School of Nursing is one of Canada’s most research intensive schools of nursing.

As Associate Dean and Director, reporting to the Dean and Vice-President, Faculty of Health Sciences, you will work alongside your team and colleagues, providing academic and administrative oversight to the School’s educational, research, financial, and clinical activities. You will also be Director of the McMaster-Mohawk-Conestoga Nursing Consortium. In your capacity as Associate Dean, you are a key member of the Faculty Executive Council, which oversees faculty-wide issues.

Responsibilities :

• Provide academic and administrative oversight to the School’s educational, research, financial, and clinical activities.
• Lead the McMaster-Mohawk-Conestoga Nursing Consortium.
• Serve as a key member of the Faculty Executive Council.

Qualifications :

McMaster is located in Hamilton, a vibrant city of 500,000, nestled against the picturesque Niagara escarpment on the western edge of Lake Ontario. A relaxed, culturally diverse atmosphere with excellent public schools make Hamilton an attractive place for families.
