Site Reliability Engineer / Devops Engineer

AZAD Technology Partners is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer / Devops Engineer for a full-time, W2 Contract position based in Chicago, IL.

Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours / week, Hybrid

Assignment Duration : 10 Months.

Compensation & Benefits : Compensation is between $70.00 - $80.00 hourly. Benefits include co-paid Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance, Cafeteria Plan, and 401k, as well as the option for Paid Time Off (dependent on amount requested).

Position Description :

We are searching for a candidate who has extensive experience in Site Reliability Engineering principles and culture, and who enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world solutions and positive user experiences for every interaction. A person who can establish SRE best practices and supports App teams in maturing SRE principles and culture. The Goals Driven Wealth Management platform is a showcase product for Northern Trust's Wealth Management business, and we must demonstrate our ability to deliver and support innovative technology solutions. We count on our site reliability engineers to run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health.

Major Duties :

• Develop and implement SRE best practices across the entire technology stack.
• Collaborate with both application and infrastructure teams to establish reliability goals.
• Design and maintain observability solutions for comprehensive monitoring.
• Lead incident response and post-incident reviews, driving continuous improvement.
• Manage Disaster Recovery exercises.
• Access review / Audit activity.
• Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization efforts.
• Work with senior staff and management on service delivery improvements.
