Technology Business Management
Primary Responsibilities :
Support Technology COO and Technology Business Management in 3rd Product Vendor governance and analysis, synthesizing findings into narratives for management stakeholdersModeling and analysis to support technology governance forums, providing management reporting and our ability to hold groups accountable for benefits associated with 3rd party vendor productsSupport multi-year cost efficiency portfolio and tracking projects, business cases and initiativesManagement support for ad hoc studies and analysis toward the objective of improving department's operations, training, and operational processesWork with Technology Strategy Management teams and Tech Management Stakeholders to define appropriate governance processes to mitigate the growth of 3rd Party Software Expenses, provide actionable levers to firm StakeholdersQualifications
Excellent analytical and communication skills, expertise with PowerPoint, excel and large data setsAdept at creating management presentations, delivering concise synthesis of suggestion actions to senior firm managementWillingness to take ownership and accountability to execute and deliver on goals; strong commitment to high quality standardsExcellent time management skills, ability to efficiently prioritize and multitask, and work under pressure.Description
This incumbent will be part of the Technology Finance and Business Management team. The TFBM team is responsible for the operations of technology including financial oversight, technology strategy execution, communications, and coordination. This role will be responsible for software product governance, process improvement and analysis to support key business practices and decision making. The incumbent will report to the COO of the global TFBM organization and assist with the execution of governance processes, coordination of strategic initiatives and reporting / analytics in support of Technology products. This includes understanding business goals as well as respective data and process engineering required for sustainable governance solutions. Analytical prowess, relationship management and executive communication will be important facets for this role, i.e. the ability to understand complex problems, identify options and solutions across multiple stakeholders and synthesize findings for senior management.
Additional responsibilities include ad hoc analysis on 3rd party vendor products and contracts, driving reporting and process improvements, and support of central COO responsibilities for the global organization.
