Startup Ecosystem Canada News is a platform dedicated to sharing stories of innovation, spotlighting entrepreneurs, and covering the latest developments in Canada’s startup landscape.

To bring this vision to life, we’re looking for student journalists passionate about tech, startups, and storytelling to join us. This volunteer position offers invaluable exposure and the potential to grow into a paid, full-time role based on your performance and the quality of articles.

What You’ll Do :

  • Research & Write : Craft compelling articles, interviews, and features about startups, entrepreneurs, and tech landscape.
  • Event Coverage : Attend and report on conferences, launches, and startup events.
  • Content Creation : Collaborate on engaging content for our website and social media platforms.
  • Stay Informed : Keep a pulse on trends in tech and startups to uncover fresh, impactful stories.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Current Student : Enrolled in journalism, communications, or a related program.
  • Passionate Storyteller : Strong writing skills and enthusiasm for tech and innovation.
  • Self-Starter : Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Social Media Savvy : Familiarity with promoting content online is a plus.
  • Curious Thinker : Talent for turning complex ideas into engaging, digestible stories.
