SUMMARY
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for generating sales (units) and developing and maintaining professional relationships in an assigned region.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned by the company.
- Achieve or exceed assigned regional unit sales goals in all product categories
- Review unit sales to determine trends and identify opportunities for additional business
- Inform and question dealers of their purchase records
- Maximize customers’ Toyo product mix and inventory turns
- Establish and maintain a dependable dealer network in all markets within assigned region
- Make regular dealer sales calls
- Inform dealers promptly of campaigns and programs
- Review dealers’ inventory and make recommendations to improve turns
- Follow up on credit related matters, as required
- Actively pursue growth opportunities by cold calling and working with distributor sales staff, as required
- Assist and encourage dealers to display and advertise Toyo products with available POP material
- Inspect warranty tires, judge their condition and complete all necessary documentation
- Complete all assigned and administrative tasks in a timely manner
- Assist in establishing and carrying out profit minded and cost-conscious practices
- Develop and maintain good business relationships with major accounts through periodic contacts
- Regularly present detailed competitive information such as products, prices, sales programs, product problems, etc.
- Monitor Toyo product performance versus competitors and help identify new product needs
- Maintain customer contact data for all direct and associate dealers in assigned area
- Maintain up-to-date customer profiles
- Provide accurate information regarding Toyo product performance vs. competitors and help to identify new product needs for Toyo.
