Position Posting Visitor Service Attendant – Museum - Summer Student, Part-time (1 Position Available) Term of Employment : Part-Time, Summer Term (24 – 32 hours / week, April 28 – August 23, 2025) Rate of Pay : Student Wage Band : $17.70 per hour (Subject to CUPE 1015 Agreement) Current Location : Lloydminster Museum + Archives (LMA) & Weaver Heritage Park Duties : The Visitor Services Attendant – Museum Attendant is responsible to assist in the overall administration and reception of the LMA and WHP The Visitor Services Attendant – Museum Attendant will : Assist with reception duties, including operation of the front desk, answering inquiries, processing admissions and retails sales, and providing excellent customer service. Research and develop resources to help share information about the City of Lloydminster and region’s recreation and tourism offerings. Assist with developing written content for social media, in-house signage, and program plans. Responsible for light housekeeping duties of the Reception Building. Assist in supporting public events. Participate in the City of Lloydminster’s Safety Management System. Other related duties from time to time as required. Schedule : This position will work days, evenings and weekends. Qualifications : The successful candidate will have the following qualifications : Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Must be able to deal with the public effectively and tactfully. Must be comfortable handling cash, reconciling a cash till, and conducting daily deposits. Must have strong research skills. Maintain high degree of professionalism. Offer will be contingent upon receiving a satisfactory criminal record check, including a vulnerable sector check prior to employment.
