Responsibilities

Lead development and implementation of user interface components using relevant coding language(s)

Ensure alignment and optimize web design and user experience requirements

Conduct regular testing, debugging, and quality assurance reviews

Act as subject matter expert for coding language(s) and solutions design

Create and maintain relevant documentation and conduct knowledge transfer activities

Qualifications

Three to five+ years of of real-world experience developing, deploying, scaling and maintaining software applications. A good portion of this experience should come from developing software solutions in and around cloud-based services and / or service-oriented architectures

3+ years experience in React.js, Next.js, GraphQL, and / or micro frontends

3+ years experience building simple Node APIs

Ability to learn, understand, and work quickly with new emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud / IT technology space

Experience integrating web frontends with complex multi-tier applications

Proficiency in fundamental Devops practices and on call duties for maintaining guest facing web applications

Ability to work independently with minimal direction be a self-starter with strong initiative, and ability to manage / execute workload to deliver high quality results

Advanced understanding of web technologies (HTTP, SSL, Headers, Cookies, TCP, Caching)

Hands-on experience with CI / CD principles and best practices

Experience working with bug tracking and task management software such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.

Demonstrated experience developing solutions for retail or eCommerce businesses and other relevant domains such as manufacturing & logistics, supply chain, or corporate shared services
