Responsibilities :
On-site Technical Support :
- Provide timely and effective technical assistance to employees experiencing IT issues.
- Troubleshoot problems related to hardware, software, connectivity, and networking.
- Assist with setting up and configuring computers, monitors, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
- Perform basic maintenance and repairs on hardware.
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.
IT Onboarding / Offboarding :
Assist with the setup and configuration of IT equipment for new employees.Ensure the secure removal of data and access for departing employees.Inventory and Asset Management :
Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, including hardware and software assets.Assist with the storage and safekeeping of IT equipment.General IT Support :
Provide assistance with software installation and configuration.Help users with basic troubleshooting and usage of IT resources.Maintain a clean and organized IT workspace.Assist with other IT-related tasks as assigned.Qualifications :
Background or strong interest in IT hardware and software.Basic understanding of computer systems, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and networking concepts.Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.Bonus Points :
Experience with help desk or ticketing systems.Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS).Any relevant IT certifications.
