Job description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual with a strong interest in IT to join our team as an IT Support Technician. This entry-level role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic environment, supporting our employees with their IT needs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology, eager to learn, and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities :

On-site Technical Support :

  • Provide timely and effective technical assistance to employees experiencing IT issues.
  • Troubleshoot problems related to hardware, software, connectivity, and networking.
  • Assist with setting up and configuring computers, monitors, peripherals, and other IT equipment.
  • Perform basic maintenance and repairs on hardware.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.

IT Onboarding / Offboarding :

  • Assist with the setup and configuration of IT equipment for new employees.
  • Ensure the secure removal of data and access for departing employees.
  • Inventory and Asset Management :

  • Maintain accurate records of IT inventory, including hardware and software assets.
  • Assist with the storage and safekeeping of IT equipment.
  • General IT Support :

  • Provide assistance with software installation and configuration.
  • Help users with basic troubleshooting and usage of IT resources.
  • Maintain a clean and organized IT workspace.
  • Assist with other IT-related tasks as assigned.
  • Qualifications :

  • Background or strong interest in IT hardware and software.
  • Basic understanding of computer systems, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and networking concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Bonus Points :

  • Experience with help desk or ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Google Cloud, AWS).
  • Any relevant IT certifications.
