Job description

A typical day :

Collaborate with Indigenous infrastructure and construction partners.
Lead the management and deployment of power substations.
Complete power station inspections daily to ensure compliance with Alberta building codes.
Contribute to meetings with Alberta engineers and regulators.
Complete daily progress reports.
Work collaboratively with indigenous first nations contractors.
Play a key role in the sourcing and collaboration with local engineering consultants for specialized testing and inspections.
Liase with subcontractors, EPCs, Foremen and supply chain.

Successful candidates will have :

P. Eng registered with APEGA.

Extensive knowledge and understanding of Alberta building codes.

Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

Willing to work 5 to 6 days on site.

Possess a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.

Able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

Previous experience with renewable power / electricity projects.
