The Role : Key responsibilities of a portfolio administrator include :

  • Supporting the senior portfolio manager and liaising with HNW clients
  • Assisting in the development and construction of investment portfolios
  • The maintaining and monitoring investment portfolios
  • Portfolio reviews and rebalancing
  • Prepare financial plans and accurate financial reports / statements for HNW clientele
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data and capital markets
  • Support the PM team in providing sound investment advice for that meet the investment goals of the client
  • Processing investment orders received from portfolio managers, including buying and selling securities.
  • Verifying that all transactions and positions in a portfolio are accurately reflected in the system.
  • Maintaining detailed records of all portfolio holdings, including prices, quantities, and transaction dates.
  • Generating reports for clients detailing portfolio performance, holdings, and other relevant information.
  • Ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies
  • Coordinating with custodians to settle trades and maintain accurate account balances
  • Analyzing portfolio data to identify discrepancies and potential issues
  • As the ideal candidate you possess :

  • A minimum of three years Portfolio Administration experience or equivalent within a retail or investment environment
  • Though not necessary, preference given to candidates with CIM or CFA designation
  • Excellent understanding of capital markets and investment products
  • Superior attention to detail and are highly numerically inclined
  • Are adept at analyzing and synthesizing complex financial data and drawing logical investment solutions from its finding
  • Have excellent people skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • A desire to continuously learn and contribute in a meaningful way to the team while maintaining a sense of fun and levity
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to work independently and collaboratively - Everyone participates in the team’s success!
  • The Remuneration : Commensurate with experience and education our client is offering a competitive compensation plan which includes a base salary, bonus, and benefits.
