Job description

Tasks

  • Ensuring the proper functioning of steam generators and essential refrigeration systems for production.
  • Conducting careful monitoring and regular inspections of equipment in the thermal power plant.
  • Analyzing and meticulously recording instrument readings and any equipment failures.
  • Diagnosing underlying causes of problems and implementing corrective measures to prevent equipment or system breakdowns.
  • Performing preventive maintenance operations and actively participating in the scheduled maintenance program.
  • Preparing detailed daily reports on operational activities and safety and maintenance initiatives.
  • Assisting the team in performing other related tasks as needed.

    • Job requirements

  • Possess an MMF Class 3B or higher certification.
  • Have 1 to 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in French, both oral and written.
  • Have a strong mechanical aptitude and skills in industrial plumbing.
  • Be comfortable reading plans and flow diagrams.
  • Knowledge of air conditioning and heating would be an additional asset.
  • Be available for different shifts occasionally to cover replacements.
