Job Title : Enterprise Security (ES) Performance & Risk Specialist

Location : Calgary, AB

Length : 8 Month contract to start

Rotation : Mon-Fri 8hrs per day

Description :

We are looking for an Enterprise Security (ES) Performance & Risk Specialist with experience in the client’s ES organization, services, systems, and vendors. This role requires expertise in using data to provide insights and guide stakeholders in making informed decisions.

What You’ll Do :

As part of the ES Governance, Risk & Compliance team, you will focus on developing, producing, and communicating performance metrics for key services, assets, and vendor management. This technical and strategic role requires the ability to produce insights that drive performance improvements.

Track & Monitor Performance & Maturity :

  • Lead the definition and maintenance of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Produce dashboards to showcase KPIs and track progress.
  • Monitor performance targets, such as vendor SLAs, and report insights to stakeholders.
  • Prepare and present dashboards, metrics, and KPIs during ISLT reviews.

Enterprise Security Data Model Expertise :

  • Become an expert on the data model and its structure.
  • Develop metrics and measures to ensure data quality for insights and AI efforts.
  • Collaborate with data stewards to define data requirements and structure information effectively.
  • Driving Best Practice & Continuous Improvement :

  • Maintain a strong understanding of performance metrics, risks, and desired outcomes.
  • Seek guidance from vendors and industry experts to ensure best practices.
  • Introduce innovative IT solutions to meet service goals.
  • Minimum Qualifications :

  • 5+ years of experience in ETL, data warehousing, and metadata management.
  • Proficiency with modern data engineering tools and relational databases.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and programming skills.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • A positive, proactive attitude.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience using ServiceNow for performance reporting.
