RoleSummary
The Senior Manager of Finance& Shared Services will work as amember of the Leadership Team providing strategic advice andsubject matter expertise.
Incumbent will oversee the financialoperations of the organisation. Work closely with management todevelop and implement strategies and plans to achieve the company slongterm objectives.
Primaryresponsibilities include preparation of financial records on acloudbased accounting software and related technology stacksassisting in handling full cycle of accounting and bookkeeping andmanagers direct reports of various functions (A / P A / Retc. )
ReportingStructure
This role will report to the Executive Director of Finance Operations& Shared Services
CriticalAccountabilities
Drive the financial planning of thecompany by analysing its performance andrisks
Lead the preparation of monthlyquarterly and annual consolidated financialstatements
Maintaining records according toCanadian generally accepted accounting principles including therecording of general journal entries accounts payable accountsreceivable cash management and reconciliation of bankstatements
Preparing HST / GST / QST / PST taxreturns as needed
Ensuring deliverables / assignments(A / R A / P Payroll Invoicing) is handled in accordance with policiesand expectations
Working with external accountants toprovide information as required to produce year end financialreports and corporate taxreturns
Prepare timely and detailed reportson financial performance on a quarterly and annualbasis
Conduct analysis to make forecastsand report to upperexecutives
Ensure adherence to financial lawsand guidelines
Lead in the preparation and finalreview of the annualbudget
Assist with developing policies andprocedures leading to strong internalcontrols

Qualification & Experience Education : Bachelor s degree inFinance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. CPA, CFA, orequivalent designation is an asset.
Experience : Minimum of 4 yearsof experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related role.Technical Skills : Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financialmodeling;
experience with financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle,QuickBooks) is preferred. Analytical Skills : Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complexfinancial data.
Attention to Detail : High level of accuracy andattention to detail. Communication : Excellent verbal and writtencommunication skills, with the ability to present financialinformation clearly and concisely.
Team Player : Ability to workcollaboratively within a team environment and across departments.Time Management : Strong organizational skills with the ability tomanage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
