Agilus is recruiting for a Retail Store Manager in the retail industry in Mississauga, Ontario.
Our retail client, who are family-owned and a trusted Canadian brand, are looking for a Store Manager to join their team permanently.
This person will be given the freedom to run the store their way, put in place their own creative initiatives and manage and grow an incredible team.
A typical day :
- Achieve sales productivity goals
- Scheduling the team, managing the budgets, and monitoring sales trends
- Receiving product and ordering inventory
- Training new members and coaching active team members
- Customer service and working alongside the District Manager to ensure all customers are happy and complaints are handled professionally
- Handle any POS issues and training
- Loss prevention and handle any ground level HR issues
Requirements :
- Experience working as a Store Manager in a busy retail store
- Cash handling and MS Office skills
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Physically fit and able to work on your feet for 8 hours a day
- Excellent people skills able to lead, motivate, and train
- Comfortable with climbing ladders
