Job Description

• As part of the Materials and Processes (M&P) Engineering team, you will perform tasks on a diversified range of engineering fields; mainly on metallics materials; knowledge in polymers, coatings, chemical processes, composites are an asset
• Update and / or author Materials & Processes Specifications for all client's platforms
• Create and review changes to client Qualified Product Library
• Lead research & development projects on environmentally compliant Materials & Processes; knowledge of environmental regulations such as REACH is an asset
• Develop material qualification test plans, work with internal and external laboratories, analyze results and write test reports
• Review and approve engineering drawings and manufacturing technique sheets
• Collaborate with Production, Methods, Quality & Logistics to resolve day to day production issues
• Support process improvement and cost reduction projects per schedule and highlight risks / issues in a timely manner.
