Calling all individuals interested in starting a career in dentistry! We are hiring for a Level || Registered Dental Assistant! Are you interested / looking for a career at Park Meadows Dental?

Responsibilities :

  • As a Registered Level 2 Dental Assistant, you are responsible for assisting dentists and other dental professionals in a clinical setting. Here are some of the important responsibilities you may have :
  • Patient Preparation : Prepare patients for treatment by taking vital signs, recording medical history, and explaining treatment procedures to them.
  • Clinical Assisting : Assist dentists and hygienists during procedures, such as taking X-rays, impressions, and recordings. You may also assist with dental restorations, extractions, and other procedures.
  • Infection Control : Maintain a clean and sterile environment by following infection control protocols, such as disinfecting equipment, instruments, and surfaces.
  • Medical Emergencies : Respond to medical emergencies, such as bleeding or allergic reactions, and provide basic life support until medical professionals arrive.
  • Radiology : Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) and other images using digital or film-based systems.
  • Impressions and Models : Take impressions of patients' teeth and prepare models for dental restorations, orthodontic appliances, and other procedures.
  • Surgical Assisting : Assist dentists during surgical procedures, such as extractions, implants, and oral surgery.
  • Instrument Sterilization : Sterilize dental instruments and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Record Keeping : Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, diagnoses, and medications.
  • Communication : Communicate effectively with patients, dentists, hygienists, and other dental professionals to ensure seamless treatment.
  • Lab Tasks
  • Assist with laboratory tasks, such as preparing dental restorations, orthodontic appliances, and other devices.
  • Office Management
  • Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records.
  • Supply Management
  • Manage dental supplies, including ordering and inventory control.
  • Quality Control
  • Monitor and maintain quality control measures to ensure compliance with dental regulations and standards.
