We have an immediate need for a Computer Support Specialist to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you will play a key part in the end user support for the company computer systems. Primary Responsibilities :

  • Providing Tier1 Technical support for Information Systems and devices
  • Assembling configuring / upgrading PCs and peripherals
  • Installation of operating systems
  • Loading of application software
  • Troubleshooting PC issues
  • Organizing and managing asset inventories
  • Network cable termination and port configuration
  • User management in Windows Active Directory
  • Logical data access management

Qualifications & Experience :

  • Degree or Diploma in Information Technology discipline
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware and Windows operating systems
  • Understanding of key networking concepts
  • Experience working within a Microsoft Office environment including knowledge of Windows, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management and technical data management skills
  • Highly effective communications skills
  • Proven ability to solve technical problems and make sound decisions
  • Highly motivated with a demonstrated positive attitude
  • Willingness to learn and acquire knowledge / understanding through study, instruction or experience
