Job description

Our client is a European company selling filtration systems to a variety of industries; food, bio-pharma and industrial . We are looking for a technical sales representative for their Montreal office who will serve clients in the US and Canada. Your role is to work with integrators who specify our products and work with end-users companies in our target industries. Territory : North America Work Place : Downtown Montreal office presence when not travelling Products / Services : Filtration systems Salary : $65 000 to $70 000 Commissions / Bonus : $15 000 from existing customers  + $8,000 in 1st year on new clients Car allowance : $ / km Expenses reimbursement :  All expenses are reimbursed Other Benefits :   Medical insurance3 weeks' vacationUncapped commissionsFunctions :  Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with existing customers and prospects Assure excellent follow-up with existing customers as well as new customers (end customers, OEMs, distributors, consultants) Write offers and commercial proposals according to the procedures Meet clients face to face as well as follow-up by phone or email Negotiation of prices and conditions with customers Reply to existing customer requests or prospects by providing them with solutions Develop new partners and enlarge the network of contactsRequirements : Development vs Maintenance : 70% VS 30% Road vs Office : 50% VS 50% Languages : French and English (perfectly bilingual) Education : A diploma in mechanical or related field will be highly considered  Training : 15 days in Europe Overnight Travel : 30% to 40% outside of Montreal Years' of experience : At least 4 years in one of these fields, pumps, valves, filtration, mechanical, motors, HVAC or any related fields. Other requirements :  You must be self-taught and very autonomous-You have experience in managing a large territoryYou are patient and able to handle   medium to long sales cycle  Transferable contacts : NA Transferable Knowledge : Mechanical knowledge is a must.
