Job Description

What You'll Do :
Build prototypes and dashboards to translate large data sets into driving insights and action
Develop key metrics and reporting to measure how initiatives are improving Wayfair’s performance and enabling our team to easily identify trends, root causes and develop targeted action plans.
Collaborate with cross functional partners and ensure that there is strong alignment between Wayfair’s business objectives and our Data Science driven strategies.
You Are A Match Because You Have :
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience
3+ years work experience in quantitative analytics, testing and / or predictive modeling
Strong analytical skills to efficiently analyze and extract insights from large product datasets in GBQ
Strong SQL skills to write modular queries that transform raw data into curated, structured datasets optimized for analysis and reporting.
This includes creating reusable query components for maintainability and loading data into tables using a scheduler.
Ability to build efficient and performant dashboards and reporting at scale using Looker Data Studio or similar tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and business, to define KPIs, gather requirements, implement monitoring as needed, and troubleshoot data issues.
