What is the opportunity?
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Regulatory Content will manage the day-to-day maintenance of RBC’s regulatory inventory, specifically the RCM Regulatory Content library ( RegComp ).
In addition, this role is responsible for supporting activities related to the design, implementation, day-to-day operation, and continuous improvement, of the RCM Regulatory Content library.
What will you do?
Ensuring the regulatory library / database that the Regulatory Compliance function maintains for RBC is maintained, including keeping the list of in-scope regulators up to date, keeping the theme owner and FYI theme owner lists updated, defining, and implementing good processes and controls to manage the risk arising from the regulatory library / database and associated processes, and maintaining / updating the Regulatory Requirements Library Guideline
Supporting the regulatory content update process from end-to-end, including performing validation procedures on database updates before and after loading into RegComp, engaging in dialogue with segment and function team regulatory content leads to determine appropriate theming of new content, making initial assessments about the materiality and applicability of new / changed regulatory requirements and establishing regular routines for communication and information sharing with the third party supplier
Liaisons with, and serves as main point of contact for, other Functions that may need to utilize the regulatory library database
Supports the governance and administration of Authoritative Sources in RegComp
Supports the development and implementation of ways to continuously improve the usability of / business case for the regulatory library / database, including using data analytics and data visualization in creative ways to drive value-added insights
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Proven effective stakeholder management and competing demands
Experience in business owner technology support
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and change management
Advanced user proficiency with computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and RSA Archer
University degree in law, business, finance, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Nice-to-have
PMP, CSPO, or similar designation
