Company Description

A1Sport is a division of A1 Imports Inc, specializing in the import and distribution of sporting goods and outdoor products to Canadian retailers and consumers. Our product lineup includes international brands, sold both through retailers and online platforms. We are looking for an E-commerce & Sales Coordinator to support our online sales channels and assist with product content management and customer service tasks.

Nature of the Role

As an E-commerce & Sales Coordinator at A1 Sport , you will assist in managing the daily operations of our online platforms, help coordinate product content with the marketing team. You will also assist our sales team and support our retailers’ sales efforts. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience in e-commerce and sales in the sports industry. Training will be provided to help you grow within the role.

Main Responsibilities

As an E-commerce & Sales Coordinator, your key responsibilities will include :

  • Supporting E-commerce Sales Operations : Assist in managing multiple Shopify stores by monitoring sales, updating product listings, and tracking inventory.
  • Marketplace Integration and Management : Support the integration and management of our products on marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, Altitude Sports, and others, ensuring that listings are optimized and up-to-date.
  • Content Management : Assist in uploading product descriptions, images, and promotions to ensure our products are accurately represented.
  • Retailer Coordination : Work with the team to ensure our products are displayed correctly on retailer websites, with accurate information.
  • Sales and Performance Tracking : Assist in gathering sales and inventory data for performance analysis.
  • Customer Service and Sales Assistance : Help the customer service and sales team in responding to online and phone inquiries.

Specific Tasks

  • Help manage product listings and inventory updates across online platforms.
  • Assist in creating and uploading product content (text and visuals).
  • Coordinate with external retailers to ensure accurate product information on their websites.
  • Support customer service with online orders and after-sales inquiries.
  • Help track sales performance and provide insights to the team.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on digital initiatives to promote online sales.

    • Essential Qualities

  • Attention to Detail : Ensure accuracy in product listings and customer interactions.
  • Organizational Skills : Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and French.
  • Creativity : Assist in creating engaging product content for our platforms.
  • Team Player : Willingness to work collaboratively with different departments.
  • Tech-Savvy : Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Excel and an interest in learning e-commerce tools.
  • Customer Focus : Eagerness to provide excellent service and support to internal and external customers.

    • Education and Experience Requirements

  • College diploma or relevant coursework in business, marketing, or a related field.
  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required, both spoken and written.
  • Previous experience in customer service or e-commerce is an asset, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with platforms like Shopify or Amazon Seller Central is a plus (training will be provided).
