Strategist - Process

Reporting to the Director, Process Excellence, this role will be responsible for Leading Process Excellence Initiatives – map, stabilize and standardize the process and assist teams with identifying areas to reduce / remove waste and improve delivery.

Here is what a typical day looks like

  • Researching and analyzing to support strategic initiatives and assist the business in identifying new solutions
  • Planning and defining the scope and ensuring deliverables align within the overall context
  • Working effectively with various stakeholders to gather requirements for initiatives
  • Define processes via mapping and solving complex business problems from a user-centric and data-based approach
  • Partnering with appropriate stakeholders, providing communications plans, describing format and frequency of communicating business analysis deliverables to and from key stakeholders
  • Employing a variety of methods to solicit requirements from the business and end users
  • Drafting clear, concise requirements documentation inclusive of business, initiative management, and delivery requirements
  • Developing comprehensible and succinct testing / piloting strategies and gaining sign-off from the initiative sponsor(s) for all initiative testing
  • Supporting Initiative Sponsors in the writing of charters to ensure alignment of business and project needs through risk identification, analysis, and strategies, including requirements prioritization, validation and identifying benefit / impacted KPI that are aligned to the Process Excellence’s strategic goals
  • Participating in the lessons-learned process for the initiative and facilitate trainings

The value you bring

  • University degree / diploma in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of Lean / Continuous Improvement, business analysis or project management experience
  • Lean 6Sigma Green Belt designation is required
  • Strong business acumen and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve and make decisions in an effective manner
  • Hours : 37.5 hours / week

    Location : Remote within Canada

    Compensation Range : $55,000 - $76,000
