What we are looking for :
We are looking for a Senior Financial Analyst as a contract position to cover for a Maternity Leave. Paid in Canadian dollars.
What you will do :
Preparation of month-end analysis and related journal entries and reconciliations for inventory, obsolescence and service-related profitability.
Investigation and follow-up on service and parts transactions related to repair-exchange, warranty and / or fair dealing parts;
coordinate to ensure recovery from vendor as appropriate.
1) Prepares month end analysis for service transactions, inventory and obsolescence schedules, finalizing regional P&L and commentaries, account reconciliation.
2) Reviews service transactions for open item reports, repair exchange, warranty, fair dealing parts and coordinates credit note from vendor.
3) Coordinates release of unbilled work orders and 3rd party costs.
4) Posts adjusting entries for month end closing.
5) Prepares Statistics Canada reports.
Skills :
Strong analytical skills, Strong communications skills, and MS Excel are requirements, experience with SAP a definite asset.
Education and Experience :
University graduate; 5+ years’ experience in a staff accountant or similar role
Position is a hybrid work model, requiring working 3 days in the main office location to be on Keaton Crescent in Mississauga.
Must already be eligible to work in Canada with permanent residency or work permit.
