Job description

Clerk for provincial government agency client, Scarborough.

Marberg Job Number : 2498.

Job Type : Temporary.

Start Date : One day assignment on February 27, 2025. 1 : 00pm-11 : 59pm, potential overtime required.

Compensation : $20 per hour.

Work Location : 100% onsite, with shift occurring at our Client's Scarborough office (near Birchmount and Ellesmere).

Responsibilities Summary :

To tabulate agency data under tight time constraints and with significant external stakeholder oversight.

Tabulate identified data in a timely fashion, communicating in writing and verbally with identified staff members.
Communicate clearly and accurately within team of staff members of results of data tabulation.
Liaise professionally with a variety of stakeholders that may be observing tabulation work.
Interpret highly specific, procedural training and follow meticulously.
Other related clerical duties as required.

Qualifications :

Education : Highschool diploma preferred.

Technical and Language Skills Requirements :

Strong mental math, tabulation and data entry skills to effectively follow agency directives and collect data (data entry skills may be tested).

Strong verbal and written English communication skills to effectively communicate clearly and professionally with a wide variety of stakeholders.

Task -Based Qualifications and Additional Attributes :

Strong, accurate typing and data entry skills.

Excellent attention to detail, accuracy and consistency to ensure data is tabulated and communicated clearly and quickly.

Well developed sensitivity, deference and ability to communicate professionally with a wide variety of stakeholders in English.

Ability to follow instructions as provided without the need for latitude or interpretation.

Additional Requirements :

Must be a Canadian Citizen per specialized requirements for this position from our client.

Must be 18 years or older.

Ability to work onsite, abiding by organization health and safety policies.

Ability to declare personal Non-Conflict of Interest in execution of assignment responsibilities prior to assignment start.

Provision of certification of AODA and OHSA online training course completion prior to assignment start.

Satisfactory Background Checks and Technical Skills Evaluation.
