Responsibilities
Netflix is seeking an Associate Counsel on the Business and Legal Affairs team in Canada focused primarily on scripted original drama series, but the successful candidate will also work on comedy series, feature films, and documentary programs. The successful candidate will work closely with the entire Netflix Canada original content team (e.g. Creative, Production, Finance, Marketing) and take on wide-ranging responsibilities including :
The role requires knowledge of the evolving Canadian regulatory framework and Canadian market parameters, as well as dexterity with traditional business and legal affairs issues and challenges. The successful candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with significant volume, managing and taking ownership of multiple projects, working under tight timeframes, and remaining calm, collaborative, and effective throughout.
