Our client is dynamic, constantly growing and evolving is currently looking for a bilingual Human Resources Technician to join their team in the Montreal area.
Responsibilities :
- Provide direct administrative support to the Human Resources Manager for all HR related matters
- Oversee and actively contribute to the entire recruitment cycle
- Manage learning and development practices
- Provide quality service to all employees by professionally handling all complaints and inquiries
- Contribute to the implementation of human resources strategies, policies, procedures and programs.
- Ensure effective monitoring of all day-to-day human resources functions in order to achieve departmental and organizational objectives
- Provide appropriate advice on legal issues and compliance with market labor laws
- Oversee the payroll process
- Oversee employee group insurance program
- Update and maintain employee benefits and employment status
- Participate in other human resources projects and tasks as required
- Contribute to the development of human resources policies and procedures
- Oversee the entire recruitment process (from identification of needs to selection of candidates and presentation of offer)
- Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback to general management
- Manage training and development needs through surveys, interviews, focus groups and communication with managers, trainers and customer representatives
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback and address concerns related to training initiatives
- Oversee the development of learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, virtual sessions and multimedia presentations
- Manage evaluation measures and methods to assess the impact and effectiveness of training programs
The required qualifications :
Human Resources / Business Undergraduate degree strongly preferredCHRP Certification Preferred3+ years’ experience in Human Resources RoleKnowledge of CNESST lawsPositive and proactive approach towards solving problems and meeting challengesMust possess effective oral and written communications skills, excellent interpersonal skillsBilingual in French and EnglishAbility to deal with confidential information and interact with all levels of employeesExcellent computer skills
