Vice President, Business Intelligence
- Annual Salary Range : $155,000 to $175,000

Purpose :
The Vice President, Business Intelligence is instrumental in developing the strategy and capabilities to enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. The incumbent will oversee the development and implementation of data, analytics and prospect research strategies that enhance operational efficiency, facilitate cross functional insights and optimize targeted growth opportunities for the Foundation.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and implement, in collaboration with Database and IT teams, a comprehensive and modern analytics strategy and roadmap. Enhance SPF’s data maturity with real time insights to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation and long-term growth.Establish objectives and annual goals, ensuring alignment to the SPF roadmap & key strategies.Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) / metrics that are tied to core strategies and operational plans & implement dashboards that provide actionable insights to the executive team and departmental leaders to make data-informed business decisions.Be accountable for the overall effectiveness of data, analytics, systems and research programs.In partnership with the Director, Information Systems and Data Management, evaluate the progress and effectiveness of data, analytics and systems.Partner with business stakeholders to develop and implement a data strategy that improves data quality across all systems and helps to create a data-informed culture.Present data findings and insights to senior leadership and stakeholders, translating complex analyses into clear and actionable recommendations.Provide oversight and leadership for prospect identification and pipeline development for the Campaign and Hospital fundraising priority projects.Review and assess systems to support enhanced data management and analytics capabilities and determine feasibility of technology investments and returns.Ensure strong data governance practices and scalable data infrastructure and tools, aligned with the Foundation’s current & future needs.Ensure that the data available to the business has been appropriately defined and vetted for accuracy.Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.10+ years of progressive leadership experience in data analytics, business intelligence, information systems and prospect research, ideally in a healthcare or academic foundation setting.Proven track record of delivering analytics-based solutions to complex, cross-functional business problems, optimizing processes, and effectively communicating insights to senior stakeholders.Proven expertise in managing projects and leading and sustaining transformational initiatives. PMP certification is an asset.Strong strategic vision paired with a willingness to engage in hands-on analytical work.Exceptional communication skills, ensuring complex insights are clearly conveyed to diverse stakeholders.Advanced knowledge of fundraising CRMs and database management.Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.Strong judgement and ability to identify, anticipate and remediate issues.Diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to creating a great workplace.
