Job description

Job Title : Network Engineer

Location : Burnaby, BC,(Onsite)

Duration : Long Term Contract

Job Description : Core Skills :

  • Routing Protocols : Expertise in BGP, OSPF, and other dynamic routing protocols.
  • VPN : Experience with various VPN technologies and configurations.
  • NAT Security : Knowledge of Network Address Translation and related security practices.
  • Palo Alto Firewall : Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Nexus Switching : Proficiency with Cisco Nexus switches.
  • Switching Protocols : Understanding of VLANs, STP, and other switching protocols.
  • Wireless : Experience with wireless network technologies.
  • Cisco ISE : Familiarity with Cisco Identity Services Engine.
  • Cloud : Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.

Additional Skills :

  • ASA Firewall or Palo Alto firewalls : either Experience with Cisco ASA firewalls or Palo Alto firewalls.

    • Scripting : Ability to automate tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
