As the Logistics Coordinator, you will be responsible for the booking, tracking, tracing, and updating shipments while developing and maintaining good relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, custom brokers, truckers and warehouses.
What You’ll Do :
Shipment Coordination :
- Arrange bookings with multiple freight forwarders for inbound shipments.
- Monitor shipment status and update stakeholders on progress.
Documentation Management :
Verify import documentation, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, and packing lists.Ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.Delivery Scheduling :
Coordinate with 3PL providers to schedule deliveries to warehouses and final destinations.Resolve any scheduling conflicts or delivery issues promptly.Communication :
Serve as the primary point of contact between internal teams, freight forwarders, and 3PL providers.Provide timely updates and address inquiries regarding shipments and deliveries.Data Management :
Maintain accurate records of shipments, ETA ETD ETW, delivery schedules, and related documents.Utilize basic Excel skills to track and analyze import data.What You Need :
1-3 years of experience in logistics, import, or related fields.Basic understanding of the import process and related documentation.Experience working with multiple freight forwarders and coordinating with 3PL providers.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., data entry, basic formulas, and tracking).Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.Why join TKG!
