Job Description

As the Team-Lead Pricing Analyst, you will support the Product and Pricing manager by leading and coaching a team of pricing analysts, coordinating and training them, helping them prioritize their work, and ensuring they achieve the team’s monthly KPIs. You will set up processes to maintain vendor costing, discount structures, and retail pricing in an ERP (Infor M3) system and a pricing optimization software (Zilliant), while delivering world-class customer service by responding to all customer, vendor, and management requests in a timely fashion. Your responsibilities include creating audit checklists to correct pricing discrepancies, co-leading the transition of newly acquired businesses into the Emco ecosystem, and proactively communicating with vendors to ensure accurate and up-to-date product and costing information. You will also create data standards for vendors, review and analyze large amounts of information, and maintain an archive of vendor files using SharePoint. Additionally, you will identify and communicate inefficiencies in current processes, connect with business stakeholders to inform them of best practices, build analytics and reporting to provide insight into the pricing team’s performance, and improve internal systems to reflect best-in-class maintenance of vendor and retail pricing.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support the Product and Pricing manager in leading and coaching a team of pricing analysts.
  • Coordinate and train the team of Pricing Analysts.
  • Help the team prioritize their work and achieve the team’s monthly KPIs.
  • Review the performance of the pricing analysts.
  • Set up processes to maintain vendor costing, discount structures, and retail pricing in an ERP (Infor M3) system and a pricing optimization software (Zilliant).
  • Deliver world-class customer service by responding to all customer, vendor, and management requests in a timely fashion.
  • Create audit checklists to help the team correct pricing discrepancies or product data issues.
  • Co-lead the transition of newly acquired businesses into the Emco ecosystem. This includes their conversion from their ERP system to Emco's ERP system in the pricing / costing areas.
  • Proactively communicate with vendors to ensure product and costing information is accurate and up to date, and that they comply with data standards.
  • Create data standards for vendors to ensure the standardization of price lists.
  • Review and analyze large amounts of information to draw informative conclusions and recommendations, covering areas such as vendor costing, product descriptions, and product files.
  • Create a structure using SharePoint to maintain an archive of all vendor files as a resource for issue resolution.
  • Utilize strong business acumen to identify and communicate inefficiencies in current processes and offer implementation solutions.
  • Connect with business stakeholders, such as Regional sales managers and pricing managers, to inform them of best practices in relation to vendor and customer pricing in the ERP.
  • Build the appropriate level of analytics to provide insight into the pricing team’s performance and service levels to PCs.
  • Create the necessary reporting to help each region achieve their growth potential using pricing data (vendor pricing and retail data).
  • Assess situations quickly and provide a course of action to best meet the needs of the team and the Profit Centre customers.
  • Improve internal systems to reflect best-in-class maintenance of vendor pricing and retail pricing.

Qualifications

Position Qualifications :

  • 3-5 years of experience in pricing analysis, data analysis, or a related field. Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Keen sense of urgency and ability to work under time pressure
  • Positive outlook and ability to work well both in a team environment and independently
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Flexibility and willingness to test and try new methods to resolve issues
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives at one time and work with time sensitive data
  • Skills :

  • A bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • Excel proficiency Expert Level
  • Proficiency with ERP systems required, Infor products is an asset (Infor M3)
  • Proficiency in Sharepoint and Power BI and Tableau for data Analytics is required
  • Proficiency a pricing science software is an asset (Zilliant)
  • Proficiency in data analysis
  • Experience in managing a ticket system
  • Bilingual English and French would be an asset

    Salary Range :

    This will depend on your experience : 75K-100K annually.
