Our highly experienced Technical Support Team provide pre-job planning, delivery and post-job wellbore intervention support for our extensive range of technology products and tools for oil & gas industry.

Partner with the best

As a Field Supervisor II – Interventions, you'll provide technical support to Technology, Commercial, and Service Delivery organizations for Fishing Services. You'll support on Conventional Fishing, Casing Exit, and Wellbore Cleanup field applications. You'll provide technical support throughout the job cycle, from portfolio management and pre-job assessment, through job execution, and post-job analysis. For this role, you'll be based in Mt. Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador.

As a Field Supervisor II – Interventions, you'll be responsible for :

Developing and applying skills required to run applications of increasing complexity in the Wellbore Intervention Product Group

Expanding and applying knowledge and expertise to include applications of increasing complexity and / or risk in Wellbore Intervention

Ensuring supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for job

Providing front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job

Using experience and knowledge of applications to ensure products and services are of highest quality

Conducting all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Assisting with onshore support with customer visits and presentations

Assisting with shop duties as required

Fuel your passion

To be successful in this role you will :

Have a High school diploma or GED equivalent. Technical diploma or higher would be considered an asset

Have at least 10 years field experience in Wellbore Intervention e.g., Plug & Abandonment, Fishing, Milling, Section Milling, Casing Exit, Whipstock, etc. supporting offshore operations on platform and semi-submersibles

Show good mechanical aptitude

Have general knowledge of drilling and completion techniques and drilling / work over rig operations

Demonstrate ability to work well and communicate well with others

Be able to work varied work schedule and be available for a 24 hour call out as necessary

Be able to travel internationally to support other geographical regions if required
