What you'll do...
We are looking for a Senior Engineering Manager who can drive the design, architecture & delivery of our next-generation platforms, keeping scalability, robustness, and security aspects in focus.
Lead a team of Top Notch Engineers to successfully build and deploy cutting-edge platforms for consumption by different Fulfilment platforms.
Focus on goal completion and support teams to overcome the challenges in implementation
Work with senior leadership to chart out the future roadmap of the products
Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for efficient software development processes and best practices, other Non-functional standards, and guide the teams to adhere to the standards.
Exhibit strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with product, engineering, and management teams across different geographic locations
You will lead the work of other small groups of eight to ten engineers, spread across Canada, the US, and India for assigned Engineering projects by providing pertinent documents, direction, and examples;
identifying short and long-term solutions and timelines; reviewing and approving proposed solutions.
You will drive the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business.
- Lead and participate in medium to large-scale, complex, cross-functional projects by reviewing project requirements, translating requirements into technical solutions;
- gathering requested information (for example, design documents, product requirements, wireframes); writing and developing code;
- conducting unit testing; communicating status and issues to team members and stakeholders; collaborating with the project team and cross-functional teams;
- troubleshooting open issues and bug-fixes; enhancing design to prevent re-occurrences of defects; ensuring on-time delivery and hand-offs : interacting with project manager to provide input on project plan;
and providing leadership to the project team.

What you'll bring :
12+ years of relevant experience in building highly resilient, highly scalable systems
Strong experience in Programming Languages like Java, React, or Scala,
3+ years of prior experience in managing teams & delivering industry-standard products
Experience with Groovy with some exposure to scripting languages like Python or Shell Scripts.
Experience in building REST APIs and Java-based, Spring Boot-based microservices applications.
A basic understanding of JavaScript & any Frontend frameworks like React.js is preferred.
Experience with containerization technology like Kubernetes.
Experience in any one of the Testing frameworks is preferred, like JUnit, Spock, etc.
Hands-on knowledge in NoSQL like Cosmos DB along with RDBMS like MySQL, and Postgres is a plus.
Working knowledge of CI / CD pipelines.
Expert in cloud computing platforms and offerings from Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and experience in writing cloud-native application development.
Should be able to communicate complex technical solutions and ideas to both technical and non-technical team members.
Ability to lead our technical relationship with partners and mentor senior software developers in multiple initiatives.
