Facilities Maintenance Supervisor

Our client is a manufacturer in the Automotive sector looking to hire a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor. This role involves supervising a team of maintenance technicians, performing preventive maintenance, coordinating repairs, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and building regulations.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of maintenance technicians to perform scheduled and unscheduled repairs, inspections, and facility upgrades.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs for HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and other building infrastructure.
• Facilities equipment includes Boilers, Chillers, Compressors, Waste water, Cranes, etc
• Coordinate facility inspections, emergency repairs, and vendor services.
• Monitor and track maintenance budgets, expenses, and inventory of spare parts and supplies.
• Schedule and coordinate contractors
• Respond to emergency maintenance requests and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and implement maintenance schedules and track work orders to completion.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate facility needs and resolve issues promptly.
• Assist in preparing and implementing facility improvement plans, including cost estimates for projects.
• Oversee the operation of the building’s security and safety systems, including alarms, fire systems, and emergency lighting.
• Act as a liaison between facility staff, vendors, and contractors.

Mandatory Requirements :

Location : Brampton, Ontario

Salary Range : $46 / hr to 50 / hr + Bonus, Benefits, RRSP Match
