Role Summary

We are seeking a hands-on, results-oriented Director of Go-To-Market (GTM) to lead our Sales and Marketing efforts and drive customer acquisition for Symphona. As Director of GTM, you will be the architect behind our end-to-end go-to-market and revenue-growth strategy. You’ll own the entire funnel—from marketing initiatives and lead generation to sales execution to customer success and delivery hand-off—using data-driven insights to design strategies that deliver measurable results.

This is an exciting opportunity to take our GTM efforts to the next level. You’ll lead a small, dedicated team across sales, solution engineering, and marketing, shaping our GTM strategy and driving the expansion of the team as revenue grows.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a cohesive GTM strategy that covers brand awareness, lead generation, sales pipeline management, and post-sales engagement.
  • Own the full sales and marketing process, from prospecting and lead acquisition to conversion and retention.
  • Design and oversee all analytics and reporting for performance measurement and forecasting.
  • Collaborate closely with leadership to define and reach quarterly revenue and market expansion goals.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop sales and marketing talent, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Operations, Consulting Services) to deliver integrated, customer-focused solutions.
  • Champion data-driven decision-making, analyzing market and competitor trends to inform both high-level strategy and in-the-trenches execution.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of leadership experience in Sales and Marketing, ideally with a deep background in marketing and proven experience leading sales teams.
  • Demonstrated success in SaaS go-to-market strategies, preferably in the automation, AI, or operational software domains.
  • Proven track record of building and executing integrated sales and marketing strategies from scratch, with a focus on analytics and measurable outcomes.
  • High energy, creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment; you’re comfortable taking initiative and working asynchronously.
  • Located in the BC Lower Mainland or able to travel periodically for in-person events and team sessions.

  • Compensation

    OTE of $170,000 - $230,000 CAD, inclusive of base salary and performance-driven commission.

    Employees are also eligible for the company bonus program and RRSP matching.
