Job description

Position : Treasury Analyst

Where : Montreal - 100% remote

Permanent

Salary up to 90k

My client, a rapidly growing Quebec-based company with international exposure in the services sector, is seeking a Treasury Analyst.

As part of their expansion, they are looking for a passionate and motivated Treasury Analyst to join and build this function internally within the finance team.

This is a newly created position in a thriving environment with ample development opportunities as the company continues to grow.

Responsibilities

As a Treasury Analyst, you will be responsible for :

  • cash flow management and liquidity optimization
  • analyzing financial risks and exposures, in particular currency risks
  • Preparation of cash flow forecasts
  • Implementation of appropriate payment approval procedures
  • Management of relations with financial institutions

    • institutions.

  • Working closely with financial and operational teams to ensure sound, proactive management of financial resources.

    • Qualifications

    Expected qualifications for this role of treasury analyst are :

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, CFA an asset
  • Bilingual, international activities requiring fluent English.
  • at least 5 years' experience in treasury,
  • exp with cash management, cash flow forecast and risk analysis is required
