Your Role
The Marketing & E-commerce Director orchestrates the brand’s visibility strategy, ensuring its appeal and consistency across all touchpoints. Their primary role is to develop and amplify the brand image by creating immersive experiences that foster organic engagement, customer loyalty, and activation.
In close collaboration with the Customer Activation department , they transform events, clienteling, and the loyalty program into powerful marketing levers, fully integrated into the global strategy. They ensure that every interaction with the brand—whether in-store, at events, online, or on social media—strengthens the emotional connection with the community and drives growth.
Your Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Community Engagement
- Define and execute a brand marketing strategy, aligned with the Chief Brand Officer’s vision, that reinforces the brand's DNA and awareness.
- Lead the development of inspiring content in collaboration with the Artistic Director.
- Work in synergy with the Customer Activation team to maximize the impact of events, clienteling, and the loyalty program.
- Develop integrated communication campaigns that create a seamless experience between digital and physical channels.
- Deploy influencer and public relations initiatives to increase the brand’s reach.
Customer Activation & Immersive Experiences
Work closely with the Customer Activation team to transform each event into an opportunity for customer retention and marketing content creation.Design campaigns that extend the event experience online and across social media.Integrate the loyalty program and clienteling into the marketing strategy to enhance retention and increase Customer Lifetime Value (CLV).Ensure that every in-store activation (events, new window displays, collection launches) is effectively highlighted across marketing channels.Digital Marketing & Brand Marketing Amplification
Define and lead the digital strategy to ensure consistency between brand campaigns and acquisition channels.Optimize the performance of paid and organic campaigns to maximize brand awareness and ROI.Oversee the e-commerce team, ensuring that physical and digital activations are synchronized for maximum conversion.Analyze customer insights and market trends to refine marketing strategies.Omnichannel & E-commerce Strategy
Ensure seamless integration between brand marketing, in-store experience, and e-commerce for a fluid and consistent customer journey.Manage bi-weekly product launch campaigns, incorporating both in-store and e-commerce needs.Collaborate with the Planning & Allocation team to optimize inventory and promotional offers.Collaborate with Planning during the Yearly budgeting process to ensure Ecommerce budgets reflect merchandising and marketing strategies.Deploy innovative omnichannel strategies to enhance the shopping experience.Leadership & Team Management
Build and lead a multidisciplinary team across marketing, e-commerce, and content.Foster close collaboration with the Customer Activation, Planning & Allocation, Store Operations, and Artistic Direction teams.Drive innovation and continuously refine strategies to position the brand as a leader in its segment.Requirements
Experience in integrating 360 marketing and communication plans, with deep expertise in one or more functional areas.Bachelor's degree and / or relevant postgraduate diploma.5 to 10 years of experience in leadership roles across various areas of digital marketing.Expertise in Brand Marketing and Brand Development.Experience in Customer Activation and Immersive Experiences.Proficiency in Digital Marketing and Customer Acquisition.Experience in E-commerce and Omnichannel strategies.Strategic vision and leadership skills.Work Location
JOELLE has a head office in Trois-Rivières as well as a satellite office, dedicated to creative work, located in Montreal. It will be possible for your main workplace to be based at either office, depending on your preference. Please note that you will need to be flexible regarding travel between the two offices to facilitate teamwork and meetings.
