Senior Mechanical Designer

Location : Oakville, ON

Salary Range : $90,000 - $110,000

We’re excited to share an opportunity for an existing vacancy as a Senior Mechanical Designer . In this role, you’ll have the chance to lead the design and implementation of innovative equipment and systems in an industrial setting. This is a high-impact role where your expertise will contribute to large-scale projects in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

Daily responsibilities may include but are not limited to :

• Leading the design, development, and implementation of industrial equipment and systems.
• Creating plant layouts and developing machine concepts and 3D designs
• Designing system layouts for material handling and integrating vendor-supplied equipment.
• Selecting purchased equipment based on design criteria and reviewing designs for accuracy.
• Researching and analyzing technical specifications to meet end-user requirements.
• Creating and refining process flow diagrams and equipment motor / device lists.
• Collaborating with customers, vendors, and internal teams to define project scope, requirements, budgets, and schedules.
• Reviewing designs with fabrication shops to ensure quality and consistency.
• Providing onsite installation, troubleshooting, commissioning, and maintenance support.
• Participating in global projects with opportunities for international travel.
