Payroll Manager (Contract)

Our client is on the search for a Payroll Manager (Contract) to join their team! The candidate would be overseeing the payroll team’s function for the client’s multi-provincial and multi-state operations. If this seems like the perfect role for you, Apply now!

Your success will be defined by your ability to :

Manage payroll operations for multi-provincial (Canada) and multi-state (US) environments, including deductions and remittances
Ensure the payroll to union and non-union employees adheres to collective agreements and legal requirements
Reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate reporting for financial reporting
Stay current with payroll regulations, industry trends, and best practices to ensure ongoing compliance and operational excellence.

Your strengths include :

Strong leadership, organization and problem solving skills

Timeliness, attention to detail and accuracy are essential

Experience with larger payrolls (ex. 250 employees) is an asset

Proficiency in payroll software systems (e.g., ADP, Ceridian, Workday, or equivalent).

Payroll designation is an asset

Ability to start quickly
