Job description

Adecco is actively seeking a reliable, self-motivated Maintenance / Renovations Worker to join our client's dynamic team in Saint John, NB. This full-time role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, including performing general maintenance tasks and renovations on both residential and commercial properties. If you have a strong background in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and other maintenance tasks, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities :

  • Perform a variety of renovation tasks, including flooring, painting, drywall, and minor plumbing and electrical repairs.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in top working condition.
  • Respond to emergency maintenance requests quickly and efficiently.
  • Conduct general maintenance on both residential and commercial properties.
  • Manage work orders and follow through to completion.
  • Ensure work is done in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards.
  • Communicate clearly with tenants and team members to ensure prompt service.
  • Install doors, windows, and complete miscellaneous repairs as needed.
  • Be willing to work outside the Saint John area when required.

    • Requirements :

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance.
  • Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and basic tools.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Reliable, self-motivated, and committed to delivering quality work.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented, ensuring high standards of work.
  • Flexibility to work outside of standard hours and in locations outside Saint John.
  • Previous experience in maintenance, renovations, or related fields preferred.
