Job description

Available shifts :

Night shift (Sunday- Thursday)

Responsibilities

Responsibilities as a warehouse gatekeeper may include :

  • Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • File out shipping and receiving forms.
  • Receive goods and control quantities.
  • Verify the accuracy of inventory (annually and occasionally).
  • Inspect goods for damage.
  • Maintain records of arrivals and departures.
  • Interact with truck drivers, coordinating with warehouse staff to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Meet the needs of the production unit in terms of raw materials.
  • Contribute to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Coordinate general warehouse operations and activities.
  • Additional tasks provided by a supervisor.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • High School or collage diploma. Or have at least two (2) or more years of working experience in a warehouse, ideally in the food storage industry.
  • Ability to work with an RF scanner.
  • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of MS software (Excel is a must).
  • Solid understanding of how an inventory works.
  • Ability to work in a bilingual environment (French and English required to serve our internal and external customers).
  • Ability and willingness to work in a cold environment (-18°C).
  • Organized, reliable and responsible.
  • Concerned about customer satisfaction without neglecting results.
  • Ability to learn quickly.
  • Possess an up-to-date forklift operator card and experience in an environment with a WMS Warehouse Management System (an asset).
