Position : Back-End Developer - Pyton and Big data (Hybrid)Location : Montreal, QCWe are hiring a Back-End Developer for our client, looking to expand their Artist Products team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and support of a variety of applications and services, leveraging modern technologies and methodologies.
What You'll Do : - Collaborate with the Artist Products team to support multiple applications and services.- Develop software using Python, Java, and SQL while adhering to best practices.
- Work with data structures, databases, and API development to build efficient systems.- Ensure your code is well-structured, clean, and maintainable.
- Engage in team collaboration and contribute to ongoing projects in an agile environment.What We're Looking For : - 3-5 years of practical experience in software development.
- Strong knowledge of Python, Java, and SQL.- Understanding of data structures, databases, and API development.- Experience writing well-structured, clean code.
- Familiarity with AWS is a big plus.- Experience with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark.Other language requirements : English- Skill level required : advanced- Reasons for language requirement : communication with customers, collaboration with internal team, support for operations in another region- Frequency of use : daily (for various tasks)Nice to Have : - Experience with AWS services (e.
g., DynamoDB, Kinesis, SQS, Lambda).- Familiarity with Big Data tools such as Solr, Cassandra, Grafana, ElasticSearch.- Experience with infrastructure management tools (e.
g., CloudFormation, Terraform, Serverless Framework).- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker.Work Setup : - Hybrid : 2 days in the office (flexible - you can choose when to come in).
