Job description

As a Designer you will mainly be responsible for designing fire suppression systems and prepare drawings in accordance with current codes using Revit software. Among other things, your responsibilities will be to : Create building information models (BIM) using Revit, to provide digital representations of physical and functional aspects of fire suppression systems; Identify and resolve fire suppression piping clashes with other building elements and architectural features; Reproduce and draw sketches, drawings and plans using 3D Design / Modeling software; Verify drawings in accordance with the established procedure; Participate inproject meetings with project managers; Submit drawings for approval; Participate incoordination meetings with other trades. Main qualifications we are looking for are : Autodesk Revit diploma; Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a similar position with REVIT MEP; Knowledge and understanding of sprinkler and / or mechanical services; Knowledge of AutoCAD and / or HydraCAD (an asset); Knowledge of Navisworks (an asset); Experience in the fire protection industry (an asset).
