Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician

Location : Greater Vancouver Metropolitan Area

Compensation : $49.50 / hr - $65.50 / hr plus TWO ANNUAL BONUSES

Overview

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to join our client's team, focusing on the service, maintenance, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems in high-rise buildings across the Vancouver Lower Mainland. Preferred qualifications include high-rise experience, Red Seal certification, class A or B gas ticket and expertise in testing and repairing back-flows.

Must Haves :

• 5+ years of experience in HVAC / Refrigeration
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving history
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Documentation confirming eligibility to work in Canada
• Familiarity with HVAC wiring diagrams
• Experience with installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC and refrigeration systems
• Experience in servicing, maintaining, and repairing heating, air-handling, refrigeration, and air-conditioning equipment
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and respond to emergency calls

Nice to Haves :

• Experience in high-rise building, electrical, or controls
• Red Seal ticket
• Class A or B Gas ticket
• Backflow ticket with knowledge of testing and repairing backflows
• Experience in leading and training teams

Responsibilities :

• Service and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems in high-rise buildings across the Vancouver Lower Mainland
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment, including heating, air-handling, refrigeration, and air-conditioning units
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure systems are operating efficiently
• Respond promptly to emergency service calls and resolve issues effectively
• Install new HVAC and refrigeration systems as needed
• Work collaboratively with a team to solve problems and provide support
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations
