• What Will You Be Doing?

As an Occupational Therapist, you will work to improve participation and quality of life through a child’s ability to perform role-appropriate, day-to-day tasks necessary for _

• self-care
• such as feeding, dressing, toileting); _
• productivity
• such as school, work); and _
• leisure and play
• within their environment. This process involves assessment, identification of strengths and needs, goal-setting, treatment planning, and implementation of treatment in a direct, indirect or consultative manner, as indicated, then discharge.

This position may be required to work with children and youth with a complex profile of needs to deliver an interdisciplinary approach to care with community partnering agencies in an outreach capacity in the home, community or school.

• Does This Sound Like You? :
• Masters Degree or recognized equivalent in Occupational Therapy
• Registered and in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.
• Have a strong interest or experience in :
• School Based Rehabilitation
• Autism Spectrum Disorders for Preschoolers
• Active rehab for 0-18yrs with various neurological, developmental and / or physical challenges
• Sound understanding of OT amongst children and youth
• Want to make a difference in the lives of families and clients
• Vaccination Policy

Job Types : Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract

Pay : $41.35-$48.70 per hour

Expected hours : 37.5 per week
