Summary of Responsibilities
As the Intermediate Accountant you will be responsible the following duties :
- Independent completion of small audit, review and compilation files and related tax preparation.
- On larger engagements, beginning to prepare more complex areas of the file
- Draft corporate tax returns and prepare appropriate tax checklists
- Prepare personal tax returns including gathering, sorting and entering client information into TaxPrep
- Builds effective working relationships in assignments with operational client contacts
- Responds effectively to client requests
- Begin to perform research and prepare more complex opinions for technical conclusions on client engagements
- Provides suggestions related to an assignment or project
- In house assignments such as accounting research or office administration
- May support and coach junior staff members or staff accountants on the team
