Our client is a leading multidisciplinary consulting engineering firm, offering civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineering services to Municipal, Residential Development, Industrial,mercial & Institutional Engineering services across Canada. They are currently seeking a Civil Engineer / Project Manager to join their growing office in Barrie, ON.

Your new role

As a Civil Engineer / Project Manager, you will be responsible for the successful planning, design, execution andpletion of projects for our clients. They have a strongmitment to high quality, optimized and cost-effective delivery of Civil Engineering projects, ensuring safety,pliance and overall client satisfaction. This role provides technical expertise, guidance, training, and mentorship to their team.

You will also act as the Project Manager on single discipline projects, ensuring the project is delivered on time and within budget. They will coordinate with Gerrits Project Management Division on multidisciplinary projects to ensure the projects are moving forward as planned. This role will also write proposals, project abstracts and technical reports.

What you'll need to succeed

• P.Eng Designation in good standing with the Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in an Engineering role.
• A background in Contract Administration is preferred but not required.
• Understanding of building services systems, construction processes, land development.
• Experience within construction industry and collaborating with municipal agencies.
• Expert knowledge of relevant codes, industry legislation.
