Job description

Randstad Canada is hiring a General Labourer for a renowned client in Coquitlam, specializing in document storage. This role involves processing orders, moving materials, and utilizing a proprietary computer system for order tracking. A reliability clearance will be required.

Position : General Labourer / Record Center Specialist

Shift : 9 : 30 AM - 6 PM, Mondays - Fridays

Salary : $18.73 an hour

Location : Coquitlam, BC

Responsibilities

  • Lift and move boxes, read labels, and process incoming and outgoing orders.
  • Use the proprietary computer system to track orders and determine the location of boxes
  • Operate handheld scanner
  • Climb and balance on ladders
  • Lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50lbs
  • Load and shrink wrap pallets at ground level, or on carts
  • Load boxes onto pallets and load pallets onto trucks manually and with material handling aids

    • Qualifications

  • Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job (lifting heavy boxes, walk, stand, kneel, squat, stoop and bend for extended periods of time)
  • Dependable and ability to work independently or as part of a team
