As a Finance & Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role as you provide insights through financial reporting, recommend process improvements, and collaborate with different stakeholders to align financial and business objectives.

What you will be doing

The key responsibilities for this role are outlined as below :

  • Budgeting and Forecasting :
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, including the development of detailed financial plans
  • Prepare financial forecasts and manage budget variances
  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic planning and decision-making
  • Cash Flow and Treasury Management :
  • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure liquidity and financial stability
  • Assist in treasury functions, including managing banking relationships and formulating investment strategies
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize working capital
  • Performance Tracking and Analysis :
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) & maintain the VSEM to oversee the company's operational performance and financial health.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas needing improvement.
  • Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management and the board of directors.
  • Investor Relations :
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to prepare and disseminate investor communications, including earnings releases, Board & Investor Day Presentations, and annual reports.
  • Participate in investor meetings to communicate the company's financial performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Systems and Process Improvement :
  • Evaluate and implement accounting systems and software to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Streamline accounting and finance processes to boost operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure integrated financial management across the company
  • Risk Management :
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks to protect the company's assets
  • Formulate strategies to manage financial risk, including insurance and hedging activities
  • Ensure robust risk management practices are in place and adhered to

What you need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • MBA or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting, in process of obtaining CPA or CMA certification (Nice to have)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in FP&A
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Proficiency in accounting software, FP&A tool, CRM and advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills
  • Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in the startup environment is a plus
